I'm so grateful I got to spend so much time with you since your return to the UK last year. I always enjoyed our drives through the countryside and I know you did too. You were great company and had a brilliant sense of humour. You always wanted to stop and have a chat with anyone you met, including complete strangers, and you would invariably make them laugh, brightening their day. You were a loving husband to mum and also to Betty. You loved your children and grandchildren and were always concerned we were OK. Thank you for being a great dad, I'll miss you so much ❤️ xx

Thank you for all you have done for me and us all Dad. You obviously loved and cared for all the family. I have many fond memories growing up including the long walks in the countryside you loved when I was young boy to drives in the countryside you loved when I was older and could drive. Great memories of your favourite coffee and cake as well! You had an interesting and well lived life. You were a character with a great sense of humour and our lives won’t be the same without you. Rest in peace Dad. Your son Cliff
